Fly Tying Techniques
"The Joppa All-Syn"

The “Joppa All-Syn” pattern is a super Alewife/ River Herring imitator designed to get Joppa Flats stripers eating. The fly is tied completely of synthetic materials that allow for many features such as; length, consistency, glitter and sparkle, water shedding and improved movement in the water column. The combination of SF fibers closely matches up well with the Merrimack River run of river herring and Alewife. The pattern fishes particularly well when fished deep on full sink tip fly lines.
